RTB Open Exchange
Definition:
A virtual marketplace where participating suppliers auction their impressions to eligible buyers. The ad exchange announces each impressions, in real-time, and asks buyers if they are interested to buy said impressions and at which price.
An open exchange is an open digital advertising marketplace which aggregates inventory from multiple partners allowing buyers to bid either manually or programmatically to purchase ad impressions. Ad inventory on an open exchange allows all buyers equal opportunity to purchase the same inventory.
